This is a great option for those athletes who are tentative about jumping right into the group workouts and also those who may be looking to take their Strength & Conditioning training to the next level. Your Coach will meet with you 1-3 times per week to personalize your Strength & Conditioning program and help you get the absolute most out of your training at Courage Fitness Durham.
If you’ve been doing the daily workouts at Courage Fitness Durham for a little while you’ve likely made good progress in your overall fitness. You’ve also probably gained a good awareness of where your weaknesses lie. Our daily programming is designed to develop all aspects of fitness but it doesn’t take into consideration each athlete’s individual strengths and weaknesses.
If you would like a more personalized overall program or you just want a little extra instruction on a particular skill or area, our Coaches are available for 1-on-1 sessions. You can arrange for just a single session to help you refine a particular skill or schedule ongoing sessions to have a Coach manage your training and help you work towards a specific goal. Small group training is also available at a discounted rate.
If Strength & Conditioning WODs are not your thing and you would rather focus on just getting strong then our Barbell Coaching is the right choice for you. Depending on your specific goals and training experience, your Coach will put you on a program designed to get you big and strong using elements of the Westside Conjugate System. No previous weightlifting experience is necessary. We will teach you the basics of the lifts from step one and guide your through the first several weeks of your program.
Prepare for a local Olympic Weightlifting meet or simply improve your technique in the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. Our Coaches are USA Weightlifting Certified and have worked with Mike Burgener, Glenn Pendlay, Don McCauley, Caleb Ward, and Wilkes Weightlifting. Sessions will be individually designed based on your current skill level and specific goals.
