Thanksgiving Turkey Drive 2017
Can you imagine Thanksgiving without a turkey? Neither can we!
From now through Thursday, November 16th, we will be collecting donations to purchase Thanksgiving Turkeys to be provided to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC.
Last year, with athletes from CFD, CF Brave, Bull City CF, and Southpoint CF, we collected over $3000 and donated over 6,000 POUNDS of turkeys to help folks around the Triangle. That is a LOT of Thanksgiving meals!
Donating is easy! Just use this “friends & family” Paypal link if you have a PayPal account (send to [email protected]). Sending by “friends & family” will avoid any extra fees and raise the maximum amount of money. Just $20 provides at least 20 pounds of turkey for folks around the Triangle! We get a great deal from a local turkey seller.
We’ll be delivering our turkeys to the Food Bank on Friday, November 17th. If you’re interested in helping with the delivery, please let us know!
